WordPress is one of the most popular platforms on the net today. People use WordPress for everything, from blogs to full fledged sites… that look nothing like a blog… In fact some sites look so much like static HTML pages that you’d never be able to tell that they were Word Press sites by looking at them. You’d have to peek at the source code to figure it out…

As I’m sure you’ve noticed of late there has been a lot of buzz about blogs, and WordPress in general. One thing that I keep seeing over and over is membership sites powered by WordPress. It used to be quite difficult and expensive to have a full fledged membership created period… let alone one powered by WordPress…
You would have to patch together a number of plugin’s, widgets and custom code just to get a working framework. Not to even talk about having a custom theme created for your membership site. However this has all changed with the introduction of the Wish List Member Plugin for WordPress…
All you do is upload wish list member into your plugin’s folder, then log into your WP admin panel activate the plugin and you’re about done! The interface for WISH List Member is straight forward, and to the point. It was obviously designed with the non-technical marketer in mind…
Once you have activated the features you want on your membership site you are done! You may be thinking wait a minute Jay, that can’t be all? Yes friend that is all there is to it. Literally the guy who created this plugin was wishing for something like this. After searching high and low, he linked up with a genius programmer and had it created…
As you guessed that is where the name Wish List Member came from… Straight from his wish list! Here’s a few of the things that the creator had on his wish list:
- A way to easily turn wp into a membership site
- The ability to drip content, to the members so that you could load all the content upfront and forget about it – Yet it appears to your members that you are continually adding fresh, new content on a regular basis
- It had to link in with your shopping cart – PayPal, One Shopping Cart, whatever you were using. This way once someone paid they would automatically be given access to your membership site, however if they canceled, or didn’t make a payment their account would automatically be suspended – without you having to go in to do anything.
- Unlimited membership levels & super flexible membership options. Maybe you want to have a free membership site, perhaps a trial or paid membership OR a combination of all three – Wish List does this all… and then some…
- Multi-Level access…
- TOTAL content protection – No worries of your members giving out links to your paid content. No one will be able to access the content you lock behind this powerful plugin.
This is just a short list of the benefits that I discovered using Wish List member. Using this amazing plugin your entire membership site can be powered by WordPress, in a matter of minutes! You can learn more about Wish List Member by clicking the button below… Be sure to check out the videos they have, you get to see everything in action, live!

If you have had any experience dealing with WordPress and membership sites let me know. If you have any questions post them below. I have been using Wish List Member for over year now, I love it! I will answer your questions based off of my personal experience with the plugin! Once you get your membership site set up, come back here and post a link so we can see it!

Thanks for share .This is cool.
Thanks for your post.
Thank you very much, I was looking for this!
Do you know of any sites that I can look at that already use Wish List?
Hi, Jay. Your post is very informative. I’m thinking of buying Wish List Member. Can you tell me if the $97 single license for one domain will work on multiple websites (on the same domain)?
I’ve asked this question in a support ticket to the Wish List Member support team and never got a response.
Again, thank you.
fantastic web site, the internet i starved of good content like this, keep it up, the web needs it.
THANKS! You guys do a great blog, and have some great contests. Keep up the good work.
Great post. thank for this share. I like tis and agree with you
@Ina, support is horrible, IMO. I’ve read otherwise, but my question went unanswered, too.
As for the dripping of content, I’d like somebody here to explain it to me. The way I understand it, it’s through sequential membership upgrades, which is terribly tedious.
Hi Ina, if you purchase the single domain license it can ONLY be installed one blog on one domain. You will not be able to install WLM on multiple blogs on the same domain. If you are wishing to that, I’d recommend the Multi-Site license. It’s what I personally use, and I love it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Jay
Hi Bill,
You are correct in terms of the way that content is currently dripped. Once you do it a few times it’s not bad at all. However I understand where you are coming from…
THERE IS GOOD NEWS…
Wish List Products is soon to release a new plugin that will allow you to drip content to a single membership level. So you won’t have to create multiple levels!
Hope this helped, and thanks for stopping by!
Jay
